Brief
West Walls Brewing Co. is celebrating its first birthday with a special beer release and a
weekend-long celebration. This project is a collaborative effort with the Cumbria University,
involving both Illustration and Graphic Design students. The main deliverable is the illustration artwork for the can and keg badge, designed to fit onto an existing can design template. Secondary deliverables include promotional posters, POS and complementary marketing assets.

My first idea was to make the West Walls logo look like a confetii, however this made my work look more like a redesign rather than a complimentary design to their existing brand. I then used their mark and incorporated the confetti imagery.

After making the star pattern I wanted to try and experiment with fruit icons now that we had the tasting notes for the new beer.

These are inspired by Carlisle Cathedral - the stained glass windows, and star-gazing ceiling
