Using InDesign, I made this poster with images from the website Canva. Fonts used: Sigher and Hibernate

I also made this poster with images from the website Canva but with a different colour palette.

After receiving feedback on this design, I have decided to keep some elements but simplify the overall layout and design of this poster. There is too many elements fighting for the main attention and circle images are more difficult to align text to. So I will go back to InDesign and rethink my idea.

I removed the colour blue from the poster as it stood out too much, having the text and logo all purple helps the poster look more uniform. Also, the 7 by 8 grid helped in aligning the text and keeping the website in the middle of the page. I brought the image of the biggest tree forward in front of the headline.

After a chat with Damon on 14/10/24 it was decided I could get a successful outcome for the brief by combining elements of both my final designs.
